Denmark

The Danish flag is one of the oldest flags. The flag was established in 1219 and is known as the Dannebrog (Danish spirit). Danish king Waldemar during the Battle of Lindanise the flag appeared in the sky and fell like a  heavenly talisman. Danish king held her back before it touched the ground, which encouraged the royal army to victory. The Danish flag is a model for other northern states.
