Jamaica

The flag of Jamaica was introduced in 1962 together with the declaration of independence from the UK. The diagonal cross divides the flag into four triangles. Yellow symbolizes the country's mineral wealth and sunshine. Green represents agriculture, vegetation and hope. Black symbolizes slavery. The slave market existed until the 1834th.
