Kosovo

The Republic of Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008. The gold geographical shape of Kosovo and six white stars are in the center of the blue flag. Each star represents one of the major ethnic groups in Kosovo: Albanians, Serbs, Turks, Göran, Roma and Bosnians. Blue symbolizes the direction of Kosovo to the EU.
