Latvia

The Latvian flag was introduced in 1991, but its origin dates back to 1280. One of the legends connects the flag with a shield of  the Latvian hero sprinkling of the blood. Red represents the will of Latvians to defend their freedom to the last drop of the blood. White symbolizes the law, faith, credibility and honor people's freedom of Latvia.
