Lithuania

The national flag is from the time of independence in 1918 - 1940. Lithuania adopted again the original flag after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The flag of Lithuania displays three equal horizontal bands. Yellow symbolizes the golden fields, the sun, light and goodness. Green represents the forests, nature, freedom, and hope. Red represents love for the country, courage and the shed blood.
