Mongolia

Mongolia adopted a flag in 1940. Three equal vertical bands of red, blue, red and yellow the national emblem Soyombo. Blue is the national color and symbolizes the sky. Red symbolizes progress and prosperity. Gold (yellow) idiogram Soyombo is a Buddhist symbol representing freedom and displays fire, sun, moon, two triangles are arrowheads, and copy and mean death enemy, rectangle represents the steppe and yin - yang symbol.
