Myanmar

Burma, officially the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, adopted a new state flag on 21 October 2010. The flag with three equal horizontal bands and white star is known from the years 1943 to 1945 during the Japanese occupation. White represents peace, yellow solidarity, green  tranquility and red courage and decisiveness.
