Iceland

The Icelandic flag was established in 1915, but the flag was used officially after declaration of independence in 1944. The Scandinavian flags are derived from the Danish flag. The cross is a symbol of Christianity. Blue symbolizes the sea and oceans. Red symbolizes the active volcanoes and the white represents the glaciers and geysers.
