Moldova

Moldova has adopted this flag in 1990 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Moldova has assumed the flag of Romania adopted in 1848. The red and blue vertical bands represent Moldova. The blue and yellow vertical bands represent Walachia. The emblem in the center of the flag is a Roman eagle.
