Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia got the independence in the year 1979. The flag was introduced in the year 1967. The blue colour on the flag symbolizes the sea where the two summits of Piton volcanoes rise to the sky. The yellow triangle represents sun lighting and golden sand. The black and white are the signs of cultural fusion of voluntary coexistence of local aborigines in the dark and light face.
