Sao Tome and Principe

Sao Tome And Principe Island are islands in the Guinea bay. The state flag was introduced in the year 1975 after achievement of the independence from Portugal. The flag carries pan African colours. The red remains the battle for the independence. The yellow symbolizes coca, one of the main agricultural products of the country. The green represents country reach because of the vegetation. Two black stars represent two islands and their inhabitants.
