Senegal

Senegal got the independence in the year 1960 and they joined with neighbouring French Sudan (nowadays Mali). Both countries had their common flag. Later these countries went by their own ways. Senegal added green five – pointed star on their flag which symbolizes the symbol of Islam faith. The green strip on the flag symbolizes chance; the yellow one symbolizes natural heritage and progress. The red strip symbolizes victims.
