Solomon Islands

The flag of Solomon Islands was introduced in the year 1977. The year before the achievement of the independence. Until that time was used amended official flag. Five white stars on the blue base represent five main islands in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The green is the colour of the forest, the yellow symbolizes the sun.
