Somalia

The flag of Somalia became in the colonial period. Officially it was accepted in the year 1954. The light blue colour of the flag remains African clear sky. Five points of the white star represent five main areas where the Somalia people live. These are placed in the area of Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, previous British part of Somalia and previous Italy part of Somalia. The star is also the symbol of African freedom.
