Tajikistan

Tajikistan became the independent country after the breaking up of the Soviet Union in the year 1991. New flag was introduced in the year 1993. It differs from the previous one by the golden crown and seven stars, the symbol of sovereignty. The red colour on the flag symbolizes the past and the relation on the Russia. The white colour is the colour of the cotton which is the main product of the country. The green strip means the agriculture.
