Timor-Leste

In the year 2002 was the east Timor declared as a democratic state and they introduced the flag. The red dominates on the flag and symbolizes national – liberation battles. The yellow means colonialism. The black symbolizes the period of darkness, which is needy to overcome by the distance. The white star is the symbol of the peace.
