Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan introduced their flag in the year 1991 after the breaking up of the Soviet Union. The blue colour is the colour of Timur flag and the blue strip on the flag symbolizes water and the sky. Uzbekistan was the part of Mongol in the past. The white colour is the colour of peace and the green symbolizes the country. Two red stripes are the sign of the viability. Twelve stars represent the moons of the Islamic calendar. The half – moon is the symbol of Islam.
